The technological innovation prize in French-speaking Belgium aims to highlight the advantages and the realisations of companies. It rewards those that have created a new activity following to their researches in French-speaking Belgium.
LASEA (Laser Engineering Applications SA) is a high-tech company derived from Liege Spatial Center in 1999 and established in Liege Science Park that is specialized in laser products and applications for scientific and industrial fields.
Nominated in the "innovative company 2007" category, Lasea has been highlighted last 8 October by Marie-Dominique Simonet (minister of research, new technologies and of foreign relationships of French-speaking Belgium region) for the development of a new system of laser marking.
Already well known for the development of industrial solutions for plastic welding and for surface treatment, lasea has created a new revolutionary mild internal engraving system mostly meant for fight against imitations in luxury and pharmaceutical industry.
Following to that, the society Trackinside has been created in order to commercialise this new system.
